Michelle Yeoh received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

On February 18, renowned actress Michelle Yeoh received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. With this honor, she joined the ranks of celebrities commemorated with a star in Los Angeles.

The 64-year-old actress could not hide her emotions during the ceremony. Having reached a new creative peak with the film “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” Yeoh noted that this day was one of the most important moments of her career.

In her speech, she expressed gratitude to her loved ones. She mentioned that her husband, Jean Todt, was unable to attend the ceremony due to travel, but continues to support her. She also gave special thanks to her brother and sister-in-law, who flew in from Malaysia to surprise her.

The actress paid tribute to her late father, Yeoh Kian Teik, saying he had always supported her. She also noted that her 97-year-old mother, Janet Yeoh, still prays for her success.

“My recent achievements are not mine alone. This is our star,” Yeoh concluded.
