Azerbaijan's activities have always been based on international law, including the UN Charter and the Helsinki Final Act.

According to Report, the head of the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, Aykhan Hajizade, wrote on Twitter.

"For 28 years, Armenia refused to negotiate, rejected all peace proposals, claiming that 'Karabakh is Armenia', and also threatened Azerbaijan with a 'new war for new territories,'" he wrote.

Hajizade added that the 44-day Patriotic War of 2020 was a liberation war caused by the occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia and mass ethnic cleansing.
