This process contributes to the stabilization and disclosure of the transit and logistics potential of the entire South Caucasus, said official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
BAKU, November 9 - Sputnik. The trilateral working group on unblocking communications in the South Caucasus held 12 meetings, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing for journalists.
“This process plays a vital role in the normalization of relations between Baku and Yerevan, contributes to stabilization and the disclosure of the transit and logistics potential of the entire South Caucasus,” she said.

Zakharova also noted, touching on the settlement of the Palestinian conflict, that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers it urgent to take the necessary measures to create conditions for its restart.
“Along with solving urgent tasks of de-escalation, we consider it urgent to begin now steps aimed at creating conditions for restarting a full-fledged political process in the interests of a comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian problem on a well-known international legal basis,” Zakharova said at a briefing.
In this regard, she recalled the Russian initiative to organize ministerial consultations to coordinate the approaches of those countries in the region that support the two-state solution to the conflict.
