Lionel Messi visited the Vantara Wildlife Sanctuary in Jamnagar during his trip to India. Here, he was warmly welcomed by the center's founder, Anant Ambani. Messi participated in the aarti ceremony, prayed, tried on Indian clothes, and also watched wild animals at the zoo. Videos of him praying with Indians on social media have prompted users to joke, "I wish Messi was an Indian."
