Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni made a joking remark about quitting smoking. During a summit in Egypt, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan told her to give up cigarettes, to which Meloni laughed and replied, “If anyone forces me to quit smoking, I’ll kill them.”
She also admitted that quitting smoking is “almost impossible.” Meloni previously said she had quit for 13 years but eventually started again.
