Ingredients:
4 potatoes
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon ground red pepper
A pinch of black pepper and salt
For the meatballs:
500g ground beef
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
1 egg
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon each of black pepper, cumin, and ground red pepper; parsley
For the sauce:
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon tomato paste
1.5 cups water
A pinch of salt
Preparation:
First, place all the meatball ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Let the prepared mixture rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Slice the potatoes to a medium thickness and arrange them on a baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with ground red pepper, black pepper, and salt; mix well. Place the potatoes in an oven preheated to 200°C and bake for 20 minutes. Then, remove the tray from the oven and arrange the prepared meatballs on top of the potatoes. You can also add tomato and bell pepper slices in between, if desired. To make the sauce, melt the butter and sauté it briefly with the tomato paste. Add water and salt, then bring to a simmer. Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the potatoes and meatballs on the tray. Moisten the parchment paper, squeeze out the excess water, and cover the tray. Cook the dish again at 200°C for approximately 30 minutes.
Bon appétit! 🥰😘
