Massacre in Sudan

The civil war in Sudan, ongoing since 2023, has entered a horrifying new phase in late October 2025. The Rapid Support Forces (RSF), a powerful paramilitary group, seized control of the city of Al-Fashir in North Darfur and carried out a brutal mass killing.

According to reports, at least 460 people, including patients, children, and medical staff, were killed during an attack on a local hospital. Videos shared online show scenes of devastation — burned vehicles, destroyed buildings, and lifeless bodies scattered across the streets.

Human rights organizations, in a statement on October 28, accused RSF fighters of executing more than 2,000 unarmed civilians in recent days.

The UN Secretary-General described the events as “a severe human rights crisis,” calling for an immediate ceasefire, renewed peace talks, and urgent humanitarian access to the affected areas.
