Marvel releases the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday

Marvel Studios has unveiled the first trailer for the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday. The film is set to premiere in cinemas worldwide on December 18. Notably, Dune: Part Three is also scheduled for release on the same day.

The trailer introduces the film's main villain, Doctor Doom, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., who is best known in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for playing Iron Man. Chris Hemsworth returns as Thor, while Chris Evans reprises his role as Steve Rogers.

The footage also shows the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Loki, Shang-Chi, Ant-Man, Sam Wilson, and many other superheroes joining forces to battle Doctor Doom.

The film is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the filmmaking duo behind Marvel's blockbuster hits Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
