Mark Ruffalo Criticizes Donald Trump at the Golden Globes
At the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, actor Mark Ruffalo, known for his role as the Hulk, used his red carpet interview to sharply criticize former U.S. President Donald Trump. Ruffalo wore a pin reading “Be Good,” part of a protest movement honoring Renee Nicole Good, who was shot and killed by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent during raids in Minneapolis.
In his remarks, Ruffalo said the current situation in the U.S. “is not normal anymore” and accused Trump of disregarding international law, calling him, in his words, “the worst human being in the world.” He explained that his message and the pin were meant both to honor Good’s memory and to stand in solidarity with people who feel terrorized and afraid today.
Several other celebrities also wore “Be Good” and “ICE Out” pins on the red carpet as part of the protest to draw attention to immigration enforcement actions and to call for change.
