Man who got off with a minor “fine” apologizes to everyone
The head of the atelier, Asadbek Jumayev, who tuned a BMW M4 after an accident in Tashkent that killed a traffic police officer and boasted about his violation on social media, apologized to the public. In an interview with the Department of Public Safety, he admitted that he knew that a minor was driving without documents, but did not stop him. Jumayev said that he considers himself morally responsible for making changes that served to increase speed.
A 10th grader born in 2010 hit a traffic police inspector, Hosilbek Eshnazarov, in a BMW belonging to an acquaintance on February 25, causing his death.
