Man in Tashkent seeking gun placed in psychiatric hospital

A video has been circulating on social media showing a man on Taras Shevchenko Street in the Mirabad district of Tashkent showing people a picture of a machine gun and asking where to buy it. According to witnesses, he said he intended to “shoot 100 people.” He then left the scene.
A preliminary investigation into the incident was conducted. During the investigation, it was determined that the citizen, born in 2006, is mentally ill and was placed in a psychiatric hospital. It was reported that a legal decision will be made based on the results of the investigation.
