Man Arrested in Germany for Drugging and Assaulting Women
In Berlin, a 68‑year‑old man has been arrested on charges of drugging women with sleeping pills and alcohol, rendering them unconscious, and then sexually assaulting them. Investigators report that the man, an electrician, met women through online dating apps. After incapacitating them, he assaulted them and recorded the crimes on video. So far, he has been charged with raping 14 women, but prosecutors estimate the number of victims could be as high as 58. The identities of 30 victims have already been confirmed, while investigations continue regarding the others. During a search of his home, police found videos documenting sexual crimes. He was taken into custody in March 2026.
