Man arrested in Bukhara for running a brothel from his home.

In the Shofirkon district of the Bukhara region, a 26-year-old man was arrested for organizing a brothel in his own house. During an оператив investigation, it was found that he had been renting out a room to acquaintances for 200,000 soums.

The Shofirkon District Court found the man guilty under Article 131 of the Criminal Code (maintaining a brothel or pimping) and sentenced him to 2 years and 6 months of restricted freedom. The 200,000 soums obtained during the offense were transferred to the state. The court considered the defendant’s remorse and admission of guilt as mitigating factors.
