Man arrested for killing dogs for meat in Yangiyul

Earlier, it was reported that a man killed his dog for meat in Yangiyul, Tashkent region. According to the regional Department of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred in September 2025 in the "Sabo" neighborhood. The citizen was detained, documents were drawn up against him under Article 111 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, and preliminary investigative actions were launched.
According to the legislation, cruelty to animals is punishable by a fine of up to 1.2-2 million soums, and in case of repeated offenses, a fine of up to 20 million soums or imprisonment for up to 6 months.
