Mamdani: I still believe Trump is a fascist

New York City’s newly elected mayor Zohran Mamdani said in an interview with NBC News that he still considers Donald Trump a fascist. This statement came two days after his warm meeting with Trump at the White House. Mamdani said: “This is something I’ve said before, and I will say it again today.”

Earlier, Mamdani had met Trump at the White House. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, and both sides expressed readiness to cooperate. Trump even defended Mamdani from uncomfortable questions from journalists. When a reporter asked Mamdani, “Do you confirm that you once called President Trump a fascist?” Trump replied, “It’s okay. Just say ‘yes.’ I don’t mind.”
