Malaysia to produce scooters in Uzbekistan

Malaysia is considering a project to produce compact 3- and 4-wheeled electric vehicles in Uzbekistan. This was stated during a meeting between Uzbek Ambassador Karomiddin Gadoyev and Elayne Txam, Managing Director of the Malaysian company Pro Events and Marketing Sdn Bhd.

Elayne Txam said that the initial annual production volume is planned to be 5 thousand, and later to 10 thousand.
It is noted that the localization of scooter production can further improve the quality of delivery services to the population in Uzbekistan.
