Major avalanche in France
On September 6, a major landslide occurred in the region of Upper Savoy, France. At least 12,000 cubic meters of rock fell from the 1,300-meter-high cliff. Experts say that the volume can be up to 40 thousand cubic meters. No one was injured, but the area was temporarily closed for safety.
