Magnum is leaving the Uzbek market

Magnum, a large retail chain in Kazakhstan, is ceasing its operations in Uzbekistan. Some of its stores in Tashkent have already been closed, while the rest are running out of products.
Magnum entered the Uzbek market in 2021, and in 2023 it acquired the Carrefour chain. However, the company canceled its expansion plans starting in 2024.
No official explanation was given for Magnum's termination of operations in Uzbekistan.
