Magnitude 5 earthquake hits southern Kazakhstan

A strong earthquake struck the Zhambyl region of Kazakhstan on July 8. Local residents felt the tremors at a magnitude of 6. According to officials, there were no reports of casualties or collapsed houses. However, videos of some houses being damaged have been circulating on social media.
