Macron sues blogger who called his wife a man

French President Emmanuel Macron and wife Brigitte Macron filed a lawsuit accusing US blogger Candice Owens of defamation.
Owens claimed on social media that Brigitte Macron was born a man, and also released several podcasts about it. The Macron family claims that such statements are false and fabricated. 
The couple repeatedly asked the blogger to stop these slander, but she was forced to sue for continuing. The suit is heard in the U.S. State of Delaware.
