French journalist Florian Tardif wrote in his book “Almost an Ideal Couple” that Macron “got slapped” by his wife Brigitte Macron because of his correspondence with an Iranian actress. Tardif said that he was told about this incident by people close to Macron. However, representatives of Brigitte Macron denied the journalist’s statements and said that the First Lady never checks her husband’s phone.
