Locusts swarm the streets of Zarafshan

An increase in locusts is observed in the city of Zarafshan, Navoi region. Insects have gathered on some streets of the city, which is causing inconvenience to the movement of residents.

Videos circulating on social networks show locusts gathering in large numbers on the roofs of residential buildings, sidewalks and cars. Witnesses say that locusts have also stuck to car wheels and fences.

So far, the sanitary and ecological services have not issued an official comment on this situation. Residents, however, express hope that a solution to the situation will be found soon.
