List of Violations Detectable by Photo and Video Confirmed

In Uzbekistan, administrative penalties for traffic violations recorded by special photo and video devices will be applied within 1 month. Amendments and additions have been made to the Code of Administrative Responsibility, and a precise list of violations detectable by photo and video has been established, including:

• not using a seat belt;

• using a phone while driving;

• exceeding the speed limit by up to 20 km/h;

• violating stopping and parking rules, among others.

If the decision is appealed, the penalty can be applied within 1 year from the date of the violation. In some cases, a warning may be issued instead of a fine. The penalty is applied to the same person only once within a year.
