On May 19 of this year, Centrum Air reported that its plane C6089 flying on the Tashkent-Urgench route was struck by lightning. According to the report, this aircraft was sent for maintenance and replaced by an Airbus A320 with a smaller onboard capacity. As a result, 40 passengers were unable to fly on this flight. Passengers were offered a full refund or rebooking on the nearest available flight. Passengers who had a long wait were also accommodated in a hotel at the airline's expense.
We would like to remind you that on May 16, a Centrum Air plane flying on the Tashkent-Guangzhou-Tashkent route was also struck by lightning, and the aircraft was immediately removed from flights.
