Libyan general killed in plane crash in Turkey.

On December 23, a Falcon 50 aircraft carrying Libya’s Chief of the General Staff, Mohammed Ali Ahmed al-Haddad, crashed near Ankara. The general was killed in the حادث. His adviser, several senior military officials, and a press officer were also on board.

The Libyan government confirmed the general’s death. Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said that the wreckage was found near the village of Kesikkavak close to Ankara.

The cause of the crash is under investigation. Mohammed al-Haddad played a key role in efforts to unite the army in western Libya.
