Ingredients:
200 g butter
300 g sour cream
2 egg yolks
15 g baking powder
500 g flour
caster sugar
For the filling:
150 g sugar
300 g walnuts
2 egg whites
vanillin
Preparation:
First, mix the sifted flour and butter together thoroughly. Then, add the egg yolks, baking powder, flour and sour cream and knead a soft and non-sticky dough. The finished dough is refrigerated for 30 minutes. For the filling of the croissant, put sugar, crushed walnuts, egg whites and vanillin in a bowl and mix. The dough is divided into pieces and rolled out in a round shape. Then, the rolled out dough is cut into triangular shapes. The walnut filling is placed inside the croissant, wrapped and baked in the oven. You can sprinkle powdered sugar on the baked rolls and serve them!
