The heads of state of Central Asia signed 5 documents on cooperation within the framework of the Fifth Consultative Meeting in Dushanbe.

This was reported by the press service of the head of Tajikistan.

One of them was the Agreement on Strengthening Land Transport Links in the Region.

The purpose of the document is to develop cooperation in Central Asia in the field of transport and logistics.

The agreement is aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development of international transport by land, ensuring a competitive environment in the transport services market in the Central Asian region, increasing efficiency and forming new international corridors, including multimodal ones.

It is noted that the document will help simplify the process of transportation and transit by land transport, develop modern transport and logistics services, introduce and use innovative technologies, and digitalize the transport process.

Turkmenistan initiated the creation of the Central Asian Chamber of Commerce

Particular attention was paid to the possibility of using environmentally friendly modes of transport.

An agreement was also signed on the general directions of youth policy.
