Law enforcement officers detained a man in Tashkent who stroked and kissed a girl

The day before, a video shot near the Buyuk Ipak Yuli metro station (Maxim Gorky) spread in social networks. In the footage, an adult man first strokes the girl, and then forcibly kisses her passionately. This happens in a crowded place during rush hour, while almost no one pays attention to them. Law enforcement officers after the excitement in social networks reported that they had detained this man.

It turned out to be a 63-year-old local resident. A criminal case has been initiated against him for indecent acts against a person under the age of 16 (article 129 of the Criminal Code). Most likely, the actions of a man will be qualified under paragraph "b" of part 2 of Article 129 (lewd acts against a person under the age of 14), since the girl is only 8 years old.

These actions are punishable by restriction of liberty from three to five years or imprisonment from three to five years. At the same time, due to the fact that the detainee is a pensioner, and the crime under part 2 of Article 129 is considered less serious, a sentence of imprisonment cannot be imposed against him (part 10 of Article 50 of the Criminal Code).
