One of the largest airports in the world is under construction in Vietnam. Long Thanh International Airport is scheduled to be operational in 2026. Located on 5,000 acres and valued at approximately $ 13 billion (336 trillion VND), it will have three terminals and four runways. The main hall is decorated with an 82-meter lotus-shaped glass roof.

The new airport is expected to serve 100 million passengers annually, replacing the current Tan Son Nyat airport in stages. Another terminal and additional corridor will also be built by 2035.
