Large parks are being built along the canals in Tashkent

In 2030, parks along the canals in Tashkent will be 150 km long. The construction of parks along the canals began in 2018, and now 42 km of picnic areas have been built around the various canals flowing through our capital. In this process, the banks of the canals were strengthened, garbage was cleaned, seats, litter boxes and modern night lighting were installed. Pedestrian and bicycle lanes have been established, according to the information of the hokimiya. These works will be continued and the length of parks along the canals will be 50 km in 2024, 60 km in 2025, 75 km in 2026, 90 km in 2027, 110 km in 2028, 130 km in 2029, and 150 km in 2030. According to the Tashkent city administration, children's playgrounds, trade and other service shops will be organized in the parks for the residents to have cultural entertainment.
