Lacetti Split in Two: Two Dead, Two Children in Critical Condition

It was earlier reported about a traffic accident in Yunusabad district in which a Lacetti car split in two. The capital’s Traffic Police Department released details of the accident. According to the information, two people in the Lacetti died, while three others, including two underage children, were hospitalized with severe injuries. The Kia was driven by a minor, who, along with his friend, was speeding. “At night I took my father’s car without permission. I called my friends. The goal was just to drive a little. I was coming from the NBU bank, at the intersection the Lacetti came onto the road, and because of my high speed I couldn’t stop the car. Now I deeply regret what I did. I apologize to the relatives of the deceased and to my parents. I didn’t want this to happen. I disgraced my parents,” said the boy who drove the Kia. The boy’s father stated that the car keys were taken without his knowledge and that he is ready for any punishment for his son within the law. The second boy, after seeing his friend crash into another car, went into shock and went home. He also expressed regret and asked for forgiveness. His mother said she thought her son was asleep at home at that time. A criminal case has been opened regarding the incident.
