Kyrgyzstan begins printing its national currency on its own territory

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov announced that for the first time in the country's history, the country has begun independent production of its national currency, the soum. It is noted that previously Kyrgyzstan had to place orders with foreign countries to print its national currency and pay a large amount of money for this.
Currently, the country is receiving orders from several countries for printing currency and various official documents. The President of Kyrgyzstan noted that product protection is at the highest level and it is impossible to counterfeit it. Also, the prices of the products produced remain competitive and affordable. This step serves to strengthen the financial sovereignty of the state.
