Healer Iqbol Soliyev, popularly known as “Bionur”, was taken to court for violating the laws on the activity of traditional medicine. It turned out that he was registered for the activity of “traditional medicine” in 2020, but the certificate expired in December 2024. On January 10, 2025, the court imposed a fine of 7.5 million soums on him. However, it was found that Soliyev continued his activities and posted videos on social networks, and on November 27, he was sent to court again. According to the legislation, this is a repeated offense and is punishable by a fine of 8-12 million soums or up to 15 days of administrative detention.
The chairman of the Association of Traditional Medicine, Ruzimuhammad Khannazarov, explained that the reason for such cases is the lack of medical knowledge and culture of the population.
