Kokand Healer Released: He Calls the Court Ruling Unfair

Folk healer Iqbol Soliyev has been released after serving 10 days of administrative arrest. In a statement published on his Instagram page, he described the court’s decision as unfair and denied several claims made about him.

According to Soliyev, allegations that his activities were carried out without proper documentation are unfounded. He stated that he possesses certificates issued by the Uzbekistan Folk Medicine Association, including one valid until 2025 and another with unlimited validity, as well as certificates issued by Kazakhstan’s health authorities.

The healer’s lawyer also dismissed claims circulating on social media that Soliyev’s certificates had expired, calling them inaccurate. The lawyer emphasized that classifying Soliyev’s activities as public promotion was incorrect.

It should be recalled that Iqbol Soliyev was detained on December 17 under Article 59⁵ of the Administrative Responsibility Code and sentenced to 10 days of arrest. Later, on January 10, 2025, the Kokand City Court fined him 7.5 million soums.
