Kindergarten teacher who beat children in Navoi sentenced to 3 years and 3 months in prison.

A caregiver at a private kindergarten in the city of Navoi has been sentenced to three years and three months in prison for beating five children aged between one and three.
N.E., born in 2003, worked as a caregiver at the kindergarten from December 2025 to April 2026. She struck and kicked the children, inflicting minor bodily injuries.
The abuse came to light on April 7 after an assistant caregiver recorded the incident on video. Some parents also reported finding bruises on their children's bodies and noted that the children had become afraid to go to the kindergarten. Psychological evaluations revealed that the children were suffering from fear of the caregiver and symptoms of psychological trauma resulting from the physical abuse.
The court found N.E. guilty under Article 110, Part 2 of the Criminal Code and sentenced her to three years and three months of imprisonment. Additionally, she was banned from working as a caregiver in preschool educational institutions for a period of two years.
