North Korean leader Kim Jong-un continues his trip to Russia. On September 15, he visited Komsomolsk-na-Amur, Khabarovsk Territory, where he inspected aviation enterprises that assemble Su-35 and Su-57 fighter jets, as well as SJ-100 passenger aircraft. A demonstration flight of the Su-35 fighter was also shown to Kim Jong Un.
The North Korean leader was accompanied by Denis Manturov, head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
"We see the potential of cooperation both in the field of aviation and in other sectors of industry - this is especially important for the implementation of the tasks facing our countries to achieve technological sovereignty," said Manturov.
Kim Jong-un's armored train left Komsomolsk-na-Amur for Vladivostok.
Kim Jong Un's trip to Russia is his first official visit to a foreign country in the last four years. On September 13, the leader of North Korea visited the Vostochny cosmodrome, where he held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that Kim Jong Un invited Putin to North Korea, and Putin "welcomed the invitation."
