Kim Jong Un re-elected as president
North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been re-elected as the president of state affairs. The decision was made on March 22 during a session of the Supreme People's Assembly held in Pyongyang. This marks Kim Jong Un’s third consecutive term.
Earlier, in the 2026 parliamentary elections in North Korea, the regime received 99.93% of the vote, and 687 deputies were elected to the Supreme People's Assembly.
