Kim Jong Un and his daughter took part in a military parade dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK

In honor of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the country, a civil defense parade was held in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), in which North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and his daughter Kim Joo-e participated, the Korean Central Telegraph Agency (KCNA) reports. ).

The founding of the DPRK state was announced on September 9, 1948, and this date is annually celebrated as a national holiday in the north of the Korean peninsula.

"On September 8, a solemn military parade of the Armed Civil Defense Forces dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founding of the DPRK was held at Kim Il-sung Square in Pyongyang... Respected comrade Kim Jong-un was present at the military parade." - says the message.

Members of the party-government delegation of the People's Republic of China, diplomats of Russia and China, who visited the DPRK, were invited to participate in the ceremonial events.

According to the news agency, airplanes formed the number "75" in the sky, a military band performed, and ceremonies dedicated to the raising of the national flag of the DPRK were held. At the end of the parade, the participants of the event shouted "Manse!" ("Hurrah") shouted.

Earlier, Kim Jong-un participated in the launching ceremony of a new North Korean submarine equipped with tactical nuclear weapons. The DPRK plans to modernize all heavy submarines and equip them with tactical nuclear weapons.
