Khwarezmian taste and culture: Khiva” national cuisine of Khwarezmian Khans " gastrofestival

On September 20-21 of this year, the ancient city of Khiva became a gastronomic Center. The International gastrofestival” national cuisine of Khwarezm Khans“, held in the complex” Arda Khiva", demonstrated the harmony of not only dishes, but also history, tradition and culture.
As part of the press tour organized by the tourism committee of Uzbekistan to Khiva CASIA.UZ the team also took part and got acquainted with the tastes and culture of Khwarezm.
The main goal of the festival was to introduce the rich heritage of Khwarezmian cuisine to the general public, promote gastronomic tourism and promote the cultural potential of the region internationally. 
As part of the two-day program, an exhibition of local dishes, master classes with the participation of chefs, folklore and cultural performances were organized.
