Kazakhstan has become one of the first countries in Central Asia to test a flying taxi.
The test was carried out in the Alatau City region with the participation of international partners. The device can reach speeds of up to 200 km per hour and cover a distance of up to 200 kilometers on a single charge. It is designed for one pilot and five passengers and is equipped with 13 electric motors. For safety reasons, the first flight was carried out without passengers.
The project was developed in collaboration with companies from China, South Korea, Italy and the United States, and about $ 300 million was invested in it. The service is expected to be fully operational by 2029.
