The first crematorium in Kazakhstan has opened in Almaty. It was launched as a voluntary alternative to traditional burials. The complex is equipped with two cremation furnaces, using two-chamber combustion technology and a multi-stage cleaning system. This reduces waste and virtually eliminates odor and smoke.
One cremation process takes an average of 2 hours. At full load, one furnace can perform up to 8 processes per day. Preparing the furnaces for operation takes up to 35 hours. The process is carried out according to a strict procedure: documents are checked, the person is identified, the cremation is carried out and the ashes are handed over to relatives. There are farewell halls for relatives and special observation rooms.
