Kazakhstan's Defense Minister met with the families of the fallen servicemen.

Kazakhstan's Minister of Defense, Dauren Kosanov, met with the families of military personnel who died during training exercises. The Minister expressed his condolences to the relatives of the deceased and emphasized that the Ministry of Defense would not leave the families to face these difficult times alone.
According to the Ministry, comprehensive assistance and necessary support will be provided to the families of the deceased, and constant contact will be maintained with them. It was announced that a total of 2.46 billion tenge in financial aid would be allocated to the families of the fallen servicemen.
On September 24, during training exercises in the Mangystau region, 17 military personnel were swept out into the open sea; 14 of them died, while three were rescued.
