The cost of a flight from Almaty airport to the city center is expected to be around 7,000-8,000 tenge (approximately 178,000-204,000 soums). Officials have said that prices will decrease in the future due to competition.
eVTOL flying taxis can reach speeds of up to 200 km/h and can travel up to 200 km on a single charge. They are designed for 1 pilot and 5 passengers, and the project is scheduled to be fully operational by 2029.
