The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 16th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Tashkent.

The governments of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan entered into an agreement to regulate the activities of the international center for industrial cooperation "Central Asia".

The document was signed by the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov and the Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Arman Shakkaliev. The press service of the Uzbek Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade (MIIT) reported this on Thursday.

“On the sidelines of the 16th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Tashkent, an agreement was signed between the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the government of the Republic of Uzbekistan on regulating the activities of the international center for industrial cooperation “Central Asia,” the department said in a statement.
