Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived on a state visit to China

On May 19, the Head of state will participate in the Central Asia-China summit.President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived on a state visit to the People's Republic of China, reports Akorda. During the visit, the Head of state will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, during which issues of further strengthening strategic partnership, expanding cooperation in trade, economic, investment, transport and logistics, and energy, as well as deepening cultural and humanitarian ties will be considered. On May 18, the President will meet with the heads of major Chinese companies and hold a number of events within the framework of the state visit program, as well as take part in the launch ceremony of the construction of the logistics center of Kazakhstan in the dry port of Xi'an.On May 19, the Head of state will participate in the Central Asia-China summit. It is also planned to participate in the grand opening of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Xi'an.
