Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov has denied reports from Ukrainian intelligence that he is in poor health. He posted a video of himself driving through the streets of Grozny, saying that his kidneys are failing and that the new leader of Chechnya is being appointed is baseless.
Kadyrov called the rumors a “stupid conspiracy” spread by Ukrainian special services.
“The intelligence is not working at all, they are just sleeping, they are just writing whatever they want. Ukrainian special services found out that I have a private clinic. They said that I was refused a kidney transplant there and that I live there. But in reality... In reality, we are walking around the city,” Kadyrov said.
