A Paris appeals court has acquitted journalist Natasha Ray, who was accused of defaming French President Emmanuel Macron's wife, Brigitte Macron. The journalist's lawyer announced this.
In 2021, Natasha Ray claimed on YouTube that Brigitte was actually a man — Jean-Michel Throne. The video caused a huge stir. In September 2024, Ray was fined 13.5 thousand euros for defamation, but the appeals court overturned this decision.

Journalist Candice Owens also promised to publish evidence that Macron's wife is "actually a man." According to her, Macron was 15 years old when he had an affair with his teacher, 39-year-old Brigitte, but there is no information about the teacher's school or student life.
