On September 19, within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with the President of the United States of America, Joseph Biden.
Current issues of bilateral relations and regional cooperation were discussed.
The President of the United States confirmed the country's independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, as well as his firm support for the ongoing and inevitable reform policy in New Uzbekistan.
The promotion of practical cooperation projects with leading companies and banks of the USA was discussed.
The bilateral meetings with businessmen and the results of the business forum held before the visit of the head of our state to the USA were noted with satisfaction.
Particular attention was paid to the continuation of constructive cooperation in the fields of human rights, gender equality and other areas of human well-being.
