The administration of U.S. President Joe Biden plans to require additional funding from the legislature in the amount of at least $ 25 billion for various needs, including defense spending. This was reported by the Bloomberg agency.

Of the $ 25 billion, approximately $ 13 billion is expected to be directed towards defense needs and support for Ukraine.

The remaining $ 12 billion will be spent on disaster relief in the United States.

It was previously reported that the United States House of Representatives approved a $ 886 billion national defense bill for fiscal year 2024.
