Japan launches app to help parents understand baby cries
A new app called Awababy has been developed in Japan. The AI-powered app analyzes baby cries, identifies their causes, and helps parents understand their baby's needs.
The app has been trained on more than 150,000 audio recordings, analyzes the pitch, timbre, and duration of cries, and can identify 11 different needs, including hunger, sleep, discomfort, loneliness, and stomachache.
Starting April 20, the premium version of the app will be available for free to families with children under two in Mishima, Japan.
